Primary mission

The NYCPlaywrights web site posts playwrights submission opportunities; links to online theatre stories, videos, and other items of interest to the theatre community.

Members of the NYCPlaywrights mailing list receive weekly updates on playwrights submission opportunities, discount ticket offers, and other theatre-related information. The NYCPlaywrights mailing list has 2300+ members as of July 2016, with an average of 7 new members signing up per week.

The site also offers play script formatting information, including a MS Word template.

Play of the Month
NYCPlaywrights produced the Play of the Month project, although that is currently on hiatus.
