Broadway Workshop’s Children’s Musical Theater Festival seeks original family-friendly musicals

web site

Broadway Workshop’s Children’s Musical Theater Festival provides up-and-coming theater writers with the opportunity, space and resources to develop and showcase new family-friendly musicals. In addition, we nurture and educate aspiring young actors through educational programming, rehearsals and performances of these original works. Our annual festival is held for one week every July in New York City.

We are looking for original family-friendly musicals, appropriate for an audience of ages 9 and up, to showcase at our annual festival from Saturday, July 13-Sunday, July 21, 2013. Here is some information on our submission process.
