There is no submission fee, but there is a $100 participation fee if chosen. This fee goes toward renting the space and marketing.

Between Us Productions is looking for ten minute plays for their Take Ten Festival. Maximum length is 10 pages. The festival will run April 7-13 2014.

It is a competition style festival with cash prizes for best play, best director, best actor, and best actress. The winner of best play will also get a longer one act produced as a workshop by the company.

This is a self-producing festival. The company will only provide the performance space and general festival marketing (including sending out to agents, major theater companies, and press). The show's team will be responsible for funding the rest of the production and preparing it to be performed. This is a great way for new and emerging artists to have their work seen. There will also be a pool of directors available for writers to choose from if they do not know a director themselves or live out of town.

Winners will receive a cash prize and the winner of best play will receive a workshop production of a longer one act that will be fully funded by the company.
