THE FIRST DRAFT at PRIMARY STAGES ESPA

Get a jump start on your 2015 New Year’s Resolution to write a new play with THE FIRST DRAFT at Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA). This 10-week class will guide you through the development of your first draft providing concrete deadlines to keep your resolutions on track. You’ll receive constructive feedback in a collaborative environment that will encourage you to get your ideas on the page. Writing can often be a solitary process, but this class will allow you the opportunity to strengthen your writing skills while building connections with your artistic peers. Each week, bring new pages in to hear them read aloud in class, engage in discussion with fellow writers, and ultimately work toward—or complete!—a full-length play.

Multiple sections with our distinguished faculty of accomplished playwrights offer students the flexibility to take a class that fits their schedule.
