Spring 2016 classes at the Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) are now open for enrollment! Our award-winning faculty, comprised of working professionals in the field, provides practical skills and expert guidance in a collaborative community atmosphere.

WRITING FOR THE STAGE

• THE FIRST DRAFT with A. Rey Pamatmat (Upcoming House Rules at Ma-Yi Theatre Company),  Tanya Barfield (Bright Half Life at Women's Project Theatre, “The Americans”), Joshua Harmon (Significant Other and Bad Jews at Roundabout Theater Company), Edwin Sanchez (Barefoot Boy with Shoes On at Primary Stages), Melissa Ross (Of Good Stock at MTC, Nice Girl at Labyrinth), and Lisa Ramirez (To the Bone at Cherry Lane Theatre)

• CIRCUIT TRAINING: GETTING IT READ with Jill Rafson (Director of New Play Development, Roundabout Theatre Company), Natasha Sinha (LCT3 Associate, Lincoln Center Theater), Annie MacCrae (Associate Artistic Director, Atlantic Theater Company), Adam Greenfield (Associate Artistic Director, Playwrights Horizons), and Christopher Burney (Associate Artistic Director, Second Stage Theatre)
