The weather is getting warmer, and things are heating up at Primary Stages ESPA. Many classes have already started, and this your last chance to take advantage of the fantastic opportunities to stay on top of your writing goals this Spring. You can secure your spot with just a $50 deposit using code DEPOSIT when registering online!

March 8: The First Draft Section E with Winter Miller (Writer, In Darfur at The Public): Winter sees the class as being part of a sacred team, all working to elevate the work. She will seek for you to be an active participant in your own development as a writer.

March 12: The First Draft Section F with Eddie Sanchez (Writer, Barefoot Boy with Shoes on at Primary Stages): Eddie's class is all about being a safe place to try things. One week you may bring in a scene that totally slays, the next week, not so much. But this is the room where you can try.

March 15: ONLINE: The First Draft with Jeni Mahoney (Writer, Fata Morgana at BCT; Founding Artistic Director, Seven Devils Playwrights Conference): In this online class, Jeni will guide you through the development of your first draft, providing concrete deadlines and constructive feedback that will encourage you to get your ideas on the page.

March 16: The Craft of the Adaptation with Richard Vetere (Writer, screen adaptations include The Third Miracle, produced by Francis Ford Coppola, and The Marriage Fool starring Carol Burnett): Adapt source material of any form (play, novel, tv show, web series...the sky's the limit!) into a screenplay, writing specifically with the camera in mind.

March 19: ONLINE: The Web Series with Kate Wetherhead (Writer, Director, Creator of "Submissions Only"; Actor, Broadway's Legally Blonde and ...Spelling Bee): Your own home will transform into a TV writer’s room as you write the first season of your web series, a platform for writers to do what they want, unrestricted by producers or censors, and uniquely positioned to go viral for maximum exposure.
