Medicine Show Theatre LAB First Annual Queer Fest

Medicine Show Theatre LAB seeks submissions for its First Annual Queer Fest, by Monday, May 7.

The two-week festival will feature plays and multi-media storytelling by queer authors exploring themes not often addressed by the mainstream community. Queer Fest will run from June 6-15, before Gay Pride week, and will feature 10 plays, with each one running four times.

Each play can run NO LONGER than 90 minutes.

If you are chosen to participate in the festival, there will be a $150 fee, to defray personnel costs. The playwright is expected to do much of the producing, but MST LAB can recommend actors and technicians, if needed.

Playwrights may submit more than one play, previously produced material fine.
