An evening of ten-minute plays reflecting the Jewish identity of playwrights born between 1982 and 2002
We are seeking ten-minute plays by Millennial playwrights exploring their (Ashkenazi, Sephardi, 3G, LGBTQ, African-American, Latino, Asian, Interfaith, Multicultural, Feminist, Yiddishist, Zionist, Secular, Orthodox, or Ambivalent) Jewish Identity.
Character driven, technically simple
Cast Size: 5 actors max (1-3 is ideal)
Non-published, New Works only!
MUST NOT EXCEED TEN MINUTES
Plays chosen for Jew-dentity will be performed as concert readings in Theatre Ariel’s 2018 Salon series, and the Alliance for Jewish Theatre conference. Winning Playwrights will receive a $180 honorarium.
